Finance Minister Dario Durigan Addresses Tax Reform at FiEMS Forum in Campo Grande

The Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul (FiEMS) organized a public “Encontro Empresarial – Reforma Tributária e o Futuro da Economia” on Thursday, July 30, at the Casa da Indústria building in Campo Grande. The event featured Brazil's Finance Minister Dario Durigan, who presented the government's tax reform agenda and its expected impact on the business environment, competitiveness, and economic development. Attendees, including regional entrepreneurs and industry leaders, were invited to submit their sector’s demands and discuss macro‑economic outlooks, investment prospects, employment, and productivity.

Durigan highlighted how the reform aims to simplify the tax system, enhance competitiveness and stimulate investment, while also addressing broader challenges facing the Brazilian economy.
