Entrepreneur Ivo Kos arrested for domestic violence in São Paulo

Financial entrepreneur Ivo Kos has been placed in preventive detention following allegations of domestic violence against his wife, dentist Giullia Falcão Kos, in Pinheiros, São Paulo. The incident occurred on a Friday night following a dinner with clients.

According to police reports and the victim's testimony, the assault began in a vehicle where Kos allegedly punched her in the face and body. The violence continued at their residence, where the victim claims Kos used a baseball bat to strike her hand and threatened her with a taser. Giullia Falcão Kos shared images of her injuries on social media, including facial swelling and a broken finger, stating that she had suffered similar abuse for approximately two years.

Kos has denied the allegations, claiming the victim attacked him first. The case is currently registered as bodily injury, domestic violence, and threats. However, the victim's legal counsel is seeking to have the charges upgraded to attempted feminicide. Additionally, Kos is reportedly under investigation for a separate incident involving threats and an attack on a man at a synagogue in São Paulo.
