Financial experts urge youth in Peru to adopt early investing habits

A 2025 report from Experian Perú indicates that more than half of young people do not plan their monthly expenses, highlighting a significant need for early financial planning and habit formation.

To address this, Pacífico Seguros' financial education platform, ABC de Pacífico, suggests several strategies for young investors. Key recommendations include creating a monthly budget—ideally allocating 50% to necessities, 30% to leisure, and 20% to savings and investment—and investing in personal development through courses and workshops to increase future earning potential.

Experts emphasize making saving a consistent habit through automated debits and utilizing time to allow small contributions to grow. Additionally, they advise choosing regulated, reliable institutions and products that offer interest or growth to protect capital against inflation.
