Financial identity and credit reporting processes

Financial identity is composed of various records built through administrative declarations, financial contracts, and payment histories. In Mexico, credit information is managed by three credit information societies, including Buró de Crédito and Círculo de Crédito, which generate the Special Credit Report. According to Profeco, this report details transaction dates, credit limits, balances, and observation codes.

When applying for a checking account, individuals must validate their identity and provide documentation such as a valid ID and proof of income. Requirements vary by institution and plan; for instance, some university plans may have different age or income verification standards. Financial solvency and unpaid debts are key factors reviewed during the evaluation process.
