Financial leaders discuss AI and risk at Tomorrow Speaks in Milan

At the sixteenth edition of the Tomorrow Speaks conference in Milan, banking and insurance executives gathered to discuss financial strategies leading toward 2030. Key topics included the integration of artificial intelligence, data management, and maintaining personal client relationships.

Participants addressed the challenge of financing business growth, noting that while Italian banks have seen significant profit increases over the last decade, lending to businesses remains below 800 billion euros. Experts highlighted the need to use AI to address credit scarcity for micro and small enterprises, which contribute a third of Italy's GDP. Other priorities identified include cybersecurity prevention, customer knowledge, and managing geopolitical shocks.
