Financial literacy and empowerment initiatives launched in Indonesia
In Indonesia, various organizations are launching initiatives to improve financial literacy and economic empowerment among the youth. Allianz Indonesia has introduced the Ecopower program, which aims to equip young people and individuals with disabilities with essential skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and the circular economy. The program focuses on creating inclusive and sustainable businesses that can impact local economies.
Simultaneously, PT TASPEN (Persero) conducted the TASPEN Goes to Campus event at the University of North Sumatra in Medan. Attended by approximately one thousand participants, the event is part of the 2026 Indonesia Pension Fund Month, an initiative organized alongside the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The program encourages students to manage their finances effectively during their productive years to ensure long-term financial security and retirement readiness. As part of this initiative, TASPEN and the University of North Sumatra signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a strategic partnership.
