Financial literacy workshops scheduled in Montenegro and Croatia

Educational initiatives focused on financial literacy are being held in Montenegro and Croatia to assist individuals with money management and inflation challenges.

In Tivat, Montenegro, the Youth Center is hosting a workshop titled ‘Learn to spend wisely, save and invest bravely!’ on October 16. Led by Andrea Čičarević, the session aims to teach young people practical skills such as creating monthly budgets, distinguishing between needs and wants, understanding interest rates, and the basics of investing and diversification through interactive tasks and quizzes.

In Croatia, personal finance expert Toni Milun will hold a lecture at the Apfel Arena on November 4 titled ‘How to manage money in times of inflation.’ The 90-minute session includes practical tools, such as Excel budget templates, and focuses on helping participants gain control over their finances amidst fluctuating prices. Milun is the creator of the ‘Where maths is fun’ portal and the author of the book ‘Budi financijski fit’.
