Financial Regulatory Authority and Egypt Post partner for digital correspondence
The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and Egypt Post have signed a cooperation protocol to implement the ‘Breedy’ registered email service. This initiative aims to digitize official notifications and correspondence between the FRA and the entities under its supervision.
Signed by Dr. Islam Azzam, Chairman of the FRA, and Dalia El Baz, Chairperson of Egypt Post, the agreement is designed to accelerate procedures, increase regulatory communication efficiency, and provide a secure digital channel for sending and receiving documents. The digital notifications will carry the same legal weight as traditional registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
This move is part of a broader digital transformation strategy by the FRA to modernize the non-banking financial sector. The strategy includes enhancing electronic connectivity, improving data analysis, and utilizing artificial intelligence to monitor performance indicators and financial services.
