Financial Regulatory Authority appoints two new deputy chairmen
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued Decree No. 2600 of 2026, appointing two new deputy chairmen for the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) for one-year terms.
Mohamed El Sayad has had his appointment as Deputy Chairman renewed for one year. El Sayad brings extensive experience in capital markets, having previously served as an assistant to the chairman of the Egyptian Exchange and holding various roles related to listing, disclosure, and governance.
Tarek Seif has been appointed as Deputy Chairman for a one-year term. Dr. Seif possesses nearly three decades of experience in insurance, sustainable finance, and institutional development. His background includes serving as the Executive Director of the Financial Services Institute and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Insurance Federation.
