Financial services and literacy initiatives launched in Indonesia

PT BRI Multifinance Indonesia (BRI Finance) has introduced BRI Flash, a cash financing product designed to provide flexibility for consumer needs. The product allows customers to obtain funding of up to 90% of their vehicle's value, with interest rates starting at 0.73% per month and tenors of up to four years. This initiative follows Bank Indonesia's report of a 5.52% year-on-year growth in household consumption during the first quarter of 2026.

Separately, PT ASABRI (Persero) Pontianak Branch has launched a financial literacy program for the Sambas Police (Polres Sambas). Through the Money and Investment Fund Management (PUNDI) training, the program aims to teach police officers, military personnel, and civil servants how to manage cash flow, create budgets, and plan for retirement. The training also covers participant protections such as Old Age Savings (THT), Work Accident Insurance (JKK), Death Insurance (JKm), and pensions.
