Financial Summit 2026 in Santo Domingo draws 300 finance leaders
The second edition of the Financial Summit 2026 will be held on 15 October at the Hotel Real InterContinental in Santo Domingo. Organized by the Institute of Finance of Santo Domingo (IFI) and Aula Hispana, the conference expects about 300 participants, including chief financial officers, corporate treasurers, consultants, executives and other finance professionals.
The programme covers macro‑economic and geopolitical outlooks, corporate finance strategies, capital‑markets developments and the impact of new technologies on the financial sector. Confirmed speakers include economist José Luis De Ramón, finance professor Luis E. Pereiro, and a panel of economists—Raúl Ovalle, Jaime Aristy Escuder, Pável Isa Contreras and Miguel Collado. Market‑capital sessions will feature Elianne Vílchez, Felipe Amador and Gregory Salcedo, while Fabiola Herrera will discuss innovation and fintech. As one organizer said, “our objective is to offer an integrated vision that allows organisations to strengthen their financial health and make strategic decisions in an increasingly dynamic global environment.”
