Financial workers continue negotiations in Brazil
Financial workers in Brazil have continued negotiations for the 2026 National Campaign in São Paulo. During the second day of talks with the Inter-State Federation of Credit, Financing, and Investment Institutions (Fenacrefi), union representatives presented proposals focused on worker health, safety, and protection.
The demands include maintaining remuneration during sick leave or accidents, accident prevention measures, and worker participation in occupational risk management. Additionally, the union is seeking protections for mental health, measures to combat harassment, and regulations regarding the use of automated systems and monitoring technologies in the workplace.
Union leaders emphasized that these issues are critical due to the impacts of new management styles and technological integration. The labor movement is currently awaiting a response from Fenacrefi regarding the presented points to advance the negotiations.
