Financial workers negotiate 2026 salary adjustments in Brazil
Financial workers in Brazil have entered a new round of negotiations for the 2026 National Campaign. During a meeting in São Paulo, discussions focused on financial clauses and salary adjustments.
The workers' proposal includes a salary increase based on the accumulated INPC (National Consumer Price Index) for the periods starting October 1, 2026, and October 1, 2027, plus a 5% real increase each year. The plan also seeks to expand benefits, specifically requesting an increase in meal and food allowances. The proposal for meal assistance suggests R$ 54.40 per day, while the food allowance is proposed at R$ 867.31 per month, both with a 7% real increase alongside INPC adjustments.
