Financiera Tú Puedes Guanajuato to provide 4,000 business supports

The state-run entity Financiera y Apoyos Tú Puedes Guanajuato has announced plans to deliver 4,000 economic supports to small merchants and entrepreneurs this year. Ivón Padilla, director of the financial institution, stated that the organization aims to boost the economy across all 46 municipalities of Guanajuato through various financing options ranging from 10,000 to 5 million pesos.

During its 19 months of operation, the financier has granted over 8,300 loans totaling 641 million pesos. In addition to financial aid, the program offers professional training through alliances with the Instituto Estatal de Capacitación (IECA) and the Universidad Virtual del Estado de Guanajuato (UVEG).

This initiative is part of the state's broader economic development strategy, 'Suma,' led by Governor Libia Dennise García. According to Secretary of Economy Cristina Villaseñor, the state's economic policies have already facilitated 18 billion pesos in investments during the current term, reaching 80% of the six-year goal.
