Finding Your Roots announces Season 13 guest lineup

The PBS historical documentary series ‘Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr.’ has announced its guest lineup for the thirteenth season. The new season is scheduled to premiere on January 12, 2027.

The announced roster includes a variety of notable figures such as Bette Midler, Rita Moreno, Mark Cuban, and Melissa Etheridge. Other guests include Elizabeth Banks, Carrie Coon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ilana Glazer, Nikki Glazer, David Alan Grier, Ashley Judd, Randall Park, Wendell Pierce, Danny Ramirez, Natasha Rothwell, Allison Williams, Noah Wyle, and artist Kerry James Marshall.

Following its third consecutive Emmy nomination for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special, host and executive producer Henry Louis Gates, Jr. stated that the series aims to continue spreading the message that “America is a nation of immigrants” and to highlight common humanalities.
