Riviera Maya to see new luxury all-inclusive resort openings

The Mexican Caribbean is seeing significant luxury hospitality expansion with several new all-inclusive resorts scheduled to open in the Riviera Maya region.

Finest Riviera Cancun, part of The Excellence Collection, is set to open in Puerto Morelos on February 11, 2027. The property will feature 435 suites, including family accommodations, swim-up rooms, and two-story rooftop units. The resort is designed to offer dual experiences: the all-ages Finest Club for families and the adults-only Excellence Club, which provides private pools, a beach area, and dedicated lounges.

Additionally, Park Hyatt is expanding its footprint into the all-inclusive segment with the Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, scheduled to open in November 2026. Located in the AMAI enclave between Cancun and Puerto Morelos, the resort will consist of 148 guest rooms and suites overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The property will emphasize regional Mexican design, incorporating local materials and artistry.
