Finland defeats Albania 2–1 in Nations League victory

Finland secured a 2–1 victory against Albania in a UEFA Nations League match held at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, propelling the Finnish team to the top of their group.

The match began poorly for Finland when Albania's Rey Manaj scored in the fourth minute. However, the momentum shifted in the 20th minute when Albanian goalkeeper Etrit Berisha received a red card following a collision with Daniel Håkans. After Alen Sherrin entered the game as a substitute, Leo Walta scored from a low free kick to equalize.

Walta eventually secured the win by scoring a second goal from a repeat free kick, marking his fourth goal in four matches. Despite late pressure from Albania, including a missed opportunity by Stavro Pilon and a denied penalty appeal involving Myrto Uzuni, Finland maintained their lead to claim the win.
