Finland economy returns to growth as exports rise

Finland's economy has returned to growth, according to recent data. Statistics Finland reported that the gross domestic product grew by 0.4 percent during the April–June period compared to the previous quarter.

Export volumes increased by 5.7 percent, with growth driven primarily by the forestry, metal, electrical, and electronics industries. While this marks a significant shift from previous years of stagnation, the economic recovery has not yet fully translated into improved daily living conditions for many citizens. Unemployment remains high, the construction sector faces difficulties, and many households continue to experience financial pressure.
