Finland men's volleyball team loses to Sweden in Salohalli

The Finnish men's national volleyball team suffered a 3–2 defeat against Sweden in an international match held at Salohalli. Despite a strong summer performance in the European League, where the team won ten consecutive games, Finland struggled against the Swedish side, which is currently ranked 22nd in Europe.

Player Luka Marttila noted that the team appeared too soft at times, emphasizing that Finland must be able to defeat opponents of Sweden's caliber. The match was also marked by an injury to Swedish star Axel Enlund, who had to leave the warm-ups due to a severe ankle injury.

The match serves as preparation for the upcoming European Championships. Finnish head coach Olli Kunnari noted that Sweden is a rising team and expects a high level of competition as both nations prepare for their respective groups in the tournament.
