Finland Rally 2026: key contenders and schedule revealed
The 2026 Rally Finland, the tenth round of the World Rally Championship, will take place around Jyväskylä from 30 July to 1 August. The event features ultra‑fast gravel stages such as Ouninpohja, Päijälä and Ruuhimäki, where average speeds often exceed 120 km/h.
Leading the rally are French champion Sébastien Ogier, who returns with former co‑driver Julien Ingrassia, and Finnish rookie Sami Pajari, who recently upset the championship in Estonia. Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville and French driver Adrien Fourmaux also head to Finland with confidence after strong showings in Estonia. In the WRC2 class, Estonian Robert Virves and Finnish‑Estonian Teemu Suninen are among the title favourites.
The full itinerary includes ten special stages over three days, beginning with the Harju stage on Thursday and concluding with the final Harju stage on Saturday. The rally is expected to be a decisive round in the battle for both the drivers' and manufacturers' championships.
