Finland to host Sweden and Latvia in Kokkola floorball tournament

The Finnish men's national floorball team will compete in a three-nation tournament in Kokkola this October. The event, held from October 16–18 at the new Kokkola Areena, features Finland facing off against Sweden and Latvia.

This tournament serves as a final rehearsal for the Finnish team ahead of the World Floorball Championships, which are scheduled to take place in Tampere in December 2026. The matchup against Sweden is highlighted as a significant rivalry, following their recent encounter in the December 2024 World Championship final where Finland secured the title in overtime. The event marks the first time Kokkola will host a men's international floorball match.
