Finland's UMK27 competition opens applications for Eurovision 2027

Yle has opened the application period for UMK27, the competition to select Finland's representative for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest. The application window is notably short, running only from August 17 to August 23.

Participants can submit their entries through online forms provided by Yle in Finnish, Swedish, and English. The competition aims to discover new artists and songs, serving as a significant platform for the Finnish music industry. The final of UMK27 is scheduled to take place on February 20, 2027, at the Nokia Arena in Tampere. The winner will go on to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Burgas, Bulgaria.
