Finlayson and ALMA launch Findyke collection celebrating women's love

Finlayson and artist ALMA have launched the Findyke collection, a new line of home textiles and apparel designed to celebrate love between women. The collection includes items such as duvet covers, satin pillowcases, and clothing.

Unlike traditional graphic designs, the patterns were created using studio photographs of real people. Artist and photographer Ano Miettinen developed the Love Rave, Lovers, and Findyke patterns based on these authentic images to bring visibility to relationships that are often underrepresented in mainstream culture.

ALMA noted that the project aims to provide space for identities, such as masculine lesbians, that have historically lacked representation in the mainstream without needing to justify or diminish themselves. Finlayson Business Director Jukka Kurttila stated that the collection is part of the company's commitment to addressing social issues and promoting the idea that all consensual love stories deserve to be seen.
