Finn Jones discusses Iron Fist return in Daredevil: Born Again

Actor Finn Jones discussed his return as Danny Rand in the third and final season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ during New York Comic Con 2026. Jones described the opportunity to reprise the role after ten years as “a wonderful gift.”

Jones noted that the character has evolved into a more “grounded” and “grownup version” since his appearance in ‘The Defenders.’ While specific plot details remain undisclosed, Jones shared his personal interpretation of the character’s backstory, suggesting Rand has spent the intervening years traveling through secret orders and ancient ruins in Asia and South America to hone his skills.

Jones also commented on the experience of reuniting on set with fellow ‘Defenders’ cast members Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Mike Colter.
