Finn Wolfhard Releases 'Fire From The Hip' and Targets Paul Thomas Anderson

Finn Wolfhard, the 23‑year‑old star of Netflix’s Stranger Things, is preparing the release of his second solo album, Fire From The Hip. He recorded the record with his backing band at Pachyderm Studios in rural Minnesota, a historic venue known for sessions by Steve Albini and Nirvana. Wolfhard says the album captures the energy of his live shows and marks a more mature, independent sound.

In a recent interview, Wolfhard expressed admiration for filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, saying he reads Anderson’s scripts more than books and hopes to act in one of his films. The young star sees collaboration with Anderson as a next step that could bridge his music and acting careers.
