Finnair announces new flight routes to Agadir and Melbourne

Finnair has announced the expansion of its flight network with two significant new routes starting in October 2026.

The airline will resume direct weekly flights between Helsinki and Agadir, Morocco, for the 2026-2027 winter season. Running from October 14, 2026, to March 24, 2027, these flights are expected to take approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes. The route will support winter travel packages from the Finnish agency Aurinkomatkat, which is introducing Morocco to its winter catalogue for the first time, featuring destinations such as Agadir, Taghazout, and Marrakech.

Additionally, Finnair is launching a new long-haul service connecting Helsinki and Melbourne, Australia, via a stopover in Bangkok. Utilizing Airbus A350-900 aircraft, the journey will cover over 15,000 kilometers with a total travel time of approximately 22 hours and 5 minutes. The service includes a short layover in Bangkok before continuing to Australia.
