Finnair cancels Dubai flights for the 2026/27 winter season

Finnair has announced the cancellation of all flights between Helsinki and Dubai for the upcoming winter season, spanning from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027. The airline cited the ongoing unstable security situation in the Middle East as the primary reason for the suspension.

The decision follows previous disruptions caused by regional conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. Finnair has also maintained a suspension of its services to Doha for commercial reasons. While the airline noted that the direct impact of the Middle East conflict on its overall traffic has remained limited, the instability has necessitated changes to its flight paths and regional connectivity.
