Finnair to increase Tokyo flights to three daily in summer 2027

Finnair is expanding its flight network to Japan for the summer 2027 season to meet rising demand for travel to Asia. The airline will increase frequencies on the Helsinki-Tokyo Narita route, offering up to three daily flights during the peak summer period from May 12 to August 14, 2027.

In addition to the increased Narita service, Finnair will maintain daily flights to Tokyo Haneda. The airline's total weekly connections to Japan will rise from 28 this summer to up to 32 weekly flights in the summer of 2027. The flight schedules are designed to facilitate seamless connections from Japan to Finnair’s broader European network.

Japan currently represents Finnair’s largest market outside of Finland. The airline also provides year-round service to Osaka and remains the only European carrier offering flights to Nagoya during the summer season.
