Finnish disc golfers eye multiple golds at World Championships

Finnish disc golf players enter the upcoming World Championships in Michigan with high expectations following the latest PDGA world rankings. There is a possibility that Finland could secure two gold medals at the event, doubling the nation's previous single gold medal count.

In the women's division, Silva Saarinen and Eveliina Salonen are positioned at the top of the rankings, leading the field ahead of defending champion Ohn Scoggins. Henna Blomroos also holds a strong position, ranked seventh.

In the men's division, Niklas Anttilaja is ranked fifth in the world, making him a top contender alongside leaders like Gannon Buhr. Anttilaja has previously won a major tournament this year and remains one of the primary challengers to the top spots.
