Finnish influencer Sointu Borg goes viral playing kantele

Finnish media personality Sointu Borg surprised her Instagram followers with a video in which she plays a 39‑string electric concert kantele to the rhythm of Billie Eilish’s song “Chihiro”. The clip, filmed in a studio, attracted widespread reactions from other artists and fans, highlighting her skill on Finland’s national instrument.

During the same summer, Borg appeared as a host at festivals, notably Tammerfest, and shared photos of beach outings and a cabin stay in Ruovesi, dubbed “Finland’s Saint‑Tropez”. She also continued work on the “Sana on vapaa” podcast with co‑host Janni Hussi and expanded her activities into writing and public speaking.

Borg’s background includes formal music study up to a D‑level conservatory degree, and she previously won the TV competition Diili, which helped launch her multi‑platform career.
