Finnish midfielder Matias Siltanen says he wants to leave Djurgården

Matias Siltanen, a 19‑year‑old Finnish midfielder, has been playing for Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgården since January 2025. The player has been linked with several European clubs; Italian Serie A side Udinese reportedly made a €6 million offer, and French Ligue 1 club Toulouse had also been in talks with a similar bid that ultimately fell through.

Siltanen confirmed in an interview with Swedish media that he wants to move on from Djurgården and is open to a good offer from another team. Djurgården head coach Jani Honkavaara said the club is aware of the situation and wants to resolve it. Turkish club Beşiktaş is said to have sent officials to Sweden to watch Siltanen in a match against Halmstad as part of their scouting effort.

The midfielder's current contract covers the upcoming season, and he remains a key figure in Djurgården’s starting lineup while the transfer saga continues.
