Finnish municipalities honor local entrepreneurs and businesses

Several Finnish municipalities and regional organizations held ceremonies to honor local entrepreneurs and businesses.

In Joensuu, the city and local entrepreneur organizations recognized four companies. Lämpökarelia oy received the Company of the Year award for its long-standing presence in the HVAC sector. Other honorees included Pirisen Leipomo oy, recognized as a successful small business, and TMI Volie, which was named the multicultural company of the year.

In the Kymenlaakso region, awards were presented to businesses from six municipalities. Tyylikotka oy, an interior and furniture specialist, received the Kotka city entrepreneur award for its ability to remain competitive and its support of local procurement. Additionally, Pia Huusari was honored with the Hamina city entrepreneur award for her work in the harness racing stable industry.
