Finnlines offers maritime conference alternatives at sea

Finnlines is offering maritime-based conference alternatives to traditional urban hotel meetings. These sea-based gatherings aim to increase group focus and cohesion by providing a change of environment and minimizing the distractions common in city settings.

According to Marco Palmu, Head of Passenger Services, hosting conferences at sea provides a clear break from daily routines and fosters better participation in both formal meetings and informal discussions. The company’s new vessels, which operate routes between Sweden, Åland, and Finland, are equipped with modern conference facilities. These include meeting rooms of various sizes, ranging from small spaces for four people to larger venues capable of accommodating up to 72 participants.
