Finos Film honors actor Sotiris Moustakas on 86th birth anniversary

Finos Film has released a commemorative video on social media to honor the memory of the renowned Greek actor Sotiris Moustakas on the 86th anniversary of his birth.

The tribute highlights Moustakas’s versatile talent, noting that his acting range extended far beyond comedy. The production company emphasized his “innate gift for improvisation, unstoppable stage energy, and an acting range that far exceeded comedy.”

The video features clips from his first appearance with the studio in the 1969 film “I Die Every Dawn” (Πεθαίνω Κάθε Ξημέρωμα) by Nikos Foskolos. It also references his 1974 role in “A Law-Abiding Citizen” (Ένας Νομοταγής Πολίτης), a performance the actor himself considered his finest cinematic work.

Moustakas passed away on June 4, 2007, at the age of 66, following a sudden illness during a theatrical rehearsal.
