Moove Raises $250M Series C, Valued at $2.1B, to Build Autonomous Mobility
Moove, the Lagos‑originated mobility infrastructure firm now headquartered in Dubai, announced a $250 million Series C funding round led by Mubadala Investment Company and co‑led by Woven Capital (Toyota) and Ion Pacific. The round also included BlueCrest Capital Management, Sona Asset Management, The Raptor Group and other existing backers, valuing Moove at $2.1 billion.
The capital will be used to expand Moove’s autonomous‑vehicle business, including the rollout of robotics‑first depot facilities called “Nests,” scaling its fleet‑ownership and 24/7 operational platform. Moove plans to grow its workforce from roughly 150 employees to about 500 by year‑end and launch in new international markets. The company already operates about 42,000 vehicles across 29 cities in 13 countries, generates roughly $420 million in annual recurring revenue, and serves as a third‑party fleet manager for Waymo in Phoenix, Miami and London.
Moove’s founders Ladi Delano and Jide Odunsi say the funding underlines the view that autonomous mobility requires a dedicated infrastructure layer—fleet ownership, charging, maintenance and continuous city‑level orchestration—beyond just self‑driving software.
