Fiocruz Brasília offers 20,000 training spots on gambling and health
Fiocruz Brasília has opened 20,000 vacancies for the second cohort of a free online course titled ‘Jogos de Aposta: Cuidado na Rede de Atenção Psicossocial (RAPS)’. The training is designed to prepare health professionals across Brazil to identify and manage issues related to problematic gambling and its social, emotional, and financial impacts.
The course is conducted entirely via distance learning (EAD) with a total workload of 45 hours. It is specifically aimed at professionals linked to the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) and Primary Health Care (APS). The program focuses on mental health, risk behavior identification, and strategies for supporting affected individuals and their families.
