Fiorano Modenese concludes summer camp season for 370 children

The 2026 summer camp season in Fiorano Modenese has concluded, serving 370 children aged 0 to 12. The program, held at Il Castello nursery school and Luisa Guidotti primary school from June to September, provided support for working families through free pre-school services and extended hours until 18:30.

Key features of the program included outdoor activities, swimming, excursions, and weekly local outings supported by free municipal transportation. The administration allocated 105,000 euros specifically to ensure adequate assistance for children and adolescents with disabilities. Additionally, over 5,000 meals were served, tailored to individual dietary requirements.

Monica Lusetti, the Councilor for School, noted that the program was designed to accompany working families and highlighted the new excursion offerings as a response to parental requests.
