Fiorano Municipality provides free transport for school trips
The Municipality of Fiorano has provided free transportation services for extracurricular school trips during the 2025/2026 school year. The initiative supported a total of 343 classes across nursery, primary, and lower secondary schools.
To facilitate these trips, the municipality utilizes its own fleet of vehicles and employs municipal drivers. This organizational structure allows for flexible and widespread service delivery. In addition to standard school trips, the administration organized four specific outings for GET Babele, supplementing the existing transport service that runs three times a week.
School Councilor Monica Lusetti emphasized that the program aims to ensure transport costs do not prevent students from participating in educational experiences. The municipality has confirmed that free transportation for local school extracurricular trips will continue for the next school year.
