Fiorentina and Juventus compete for Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Italian clubs Fiorentina and Juventus are reportedly competing for Olympique Marseille midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Fiorentina has reportedly initiated contact with the Danish player in an attempt to preempt Juventus, who have also identified him as a key target to strengthen their midfield.

Højbjerg is currently under contract with Marseille until June 2028. While no official bids have been confirmed, his market value is estimated at approximately 15 million euros. Reports suggest the midfielder may seek a move away from Marseille during the January transfer window.

Juventus is looking for players to improve defensive protection and physical presence in midfield, qualities Højbjerg is noted for due to his experience in the Premier League and Ligue 1. Fiorentina views him as a way to add experience and personality to their squad.
