Italian football clubs face pressure amid coaching scrutiny and key matchups

Several Italian football clubs face critical periods. Sampdoria manager Bernardo Corradi is under scrutiny following a defeat against Avellino. Corradi noted that his position is in question but attributed recent struggles to player absences and a lack of full squad potential. The team faces an immediate need for a reaction in their upcoming match against Arezzo.

In Serie D, Modica is seeking redemption following a loss to Digiesse Praia Tortora. Coach Filippo Raciti is preparing the squad for a home match against Athletic Palermo, with only midfielder Misseri expected to be sidelined due to injury.

Fiorentina is preparing for a high-stakes match against Como at the Franchi stadium. Despite a disappointing season and a poor home record in 2026, the match is expected to be a sell-out with over 22,000 spectators. Coach Vanoli is looking for a turnaround to avoid a difficult transitional period for the club.
