Fiorentina eyes Mateo Pellegrino as potential replacement for Moise Kean
Fiorentina is preparing for the possible departure of striker Moise Kean, who is linked with a move to Como for a fee estimated between €40 million and €50 million. The club has identified Argentine forward Mateo Pellegrino, currently at Parma, as its primary target to fill the void left by Kean.
Pellegrino has been praised for his aerial ability and finishing, though pundits such as former player Alessandro Melli and former Fiorentina defender Alessandro Pierini note technical and speed limitations that may affect his suitability for a team that favours quick, wide play. Juventus also monitored Pellegrino but appears to have shifted focus to Joshua Zirkzee, giving Fiorentina more room to negotiate.
The transfer window is entering its most active phase, and Fiorentina’s management, led by Fabio Paratici, is expected to act quickly if Kean’s exit materialises, aiming to secure Pellegrino before rival clubs intervene.
