Fiorentina football news: Vanoli on Ndour and Berti on past hostility

Fiorentina manager Paolo Vanoli addressed the recent performance of Cher Ndour during a pre-match press conference ahead of the fixture against Inter. Vanoli noted that while Ndour has shown significant tactical and physical growth, the player may have become somewhat complacent following a spectacular 70-meter goal for the Under-21 side. The manager emphasized the need for Ndour to maintain his work ethic and improve his clinical finishing to reach his full potential.

In a separate retrospective, former player Nicola Berti discussed his history with Fiorentina and Inter. Berti recalled the intense hostility he faced from Fiorentina fans when he transferred to Inter, including being labeled a ‘mercenary’ and having coins thrown at him. Despite the difficult reception, Berti expressed pride in the impact he had on the club during that period.
