Fiorentina gears up for new season as coach Grosso meets players

Fiorentina’s squad spent the final days of the summer break away from the club, with many players traveling to family homes, training individually or enjoying holidays abroad. Goalkeeper David De Gea posted training footage from his home, while Moïse Kean mixed family time, music and workouts and worked on full recovery from a tibial injury. Other members of the roster, including Robin Gosens, Dodô, Nicolò Fagioli and Roberto Piccoli, trained in Italy, Austria, Brazil, Iceland and elsewhere before regrouping at the club’s Viola Park.

Ahead of the pre‑season camp, new head coach Fabio Grosso has already begun direct talks with the squad, focusing on motivation and future transfer plans. Reported discussions with striker Moïse Kean highlighted the player’s hunger to restart after a disappointing campaign. Grosso’s early engagement with the sporting director and players aims to set the tactical and market strategy for the upcoming season.
