Fiorentina hires Fabio Grosso and revamps squad as Piñeiro signs with Brazil's América Mineiro

The club also secured several signings, including Marco Bresciani, Giovanni Fabbian, Viery, Artur Atta, and loaned defender Radu Dragusin, aiming to avoid relegation threats.

Separately, Uruguayan striker Rodrigo Piñeiro will not return to Chile's Unión Española. He has signed a contract with Brazil's Série B side América Mineiro, binding him to the club until November 2027.
