Fiorentina launches centenary season with events and commemorations

Italian football club ACF Fiorentina announced a programme of activities to mark its 100‑year anniversary. The club will host a celebratory show at the Artemio Franchi stadium after the Serie A match against Frosinone on 29 August, featuring light displays, music and historic footage.

On 2 September a special “Legends” match will see former Fiorentina players face an “Operazione Nostalgia All‑Star” selection. Additional events will take place across Florence, including exhibitions at the Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park, the release of a commemorative stamp, a centenary coin minted by the State Mint and a history book published by Giunti.
