Fiorentina outlines long‑term plan, hires Fabio Grosso as new coach

Fiorentina officials Fabio Paratici (sporting director) and Alessandro Ferrari (general manager) presented a multi‑year vision for the club after a trip to the United States. They stressed that the Commisso family will keep ownership, rejecting any sale rumours, and aim to build a "competitive and durable" side that regularly finishes in the top six rather than repeatedly ending in eighth place. The strategy emphasizes organisational stability, high‑level expertise and an elastic transfer policy that will respond to offers rather than chase specific targets. Forward striker Moise Kean was described as "a heritage of Italian football and of Fiorentina" and the club hopes he remains their number 9, while other players such as Cher Ndour, Niccolò Comuzzo and 28‑year‑old Dodô are also under review. The club confirmed the appointment of former defender Fabio Grosso as head coach, with a medical check in early July and a public presentation to follow.
