Fiorentina plan squad overhaul with Grosso signing and broader transfer targets

Former Fiorentina defender Lorenzo Amoruso told Radio Bruno that the club’s recent decision to sign Fabio Grosso is intended to give the team a clear identity. He said the move should be paired with quality sign‑ins, possibly from Sassuolo, while several players are expected to leave and some may be loaned out.

Journalist Stefano Cecchi, also on Radio Bruno, said Fiorentina should avoid mass‑signing players like Miretti or Thorstvedt and instead seek talents that create a strong bond with the city. He praised the potential of a high‑profile goalkeeper such as De Gea while stressing the need for a cohesive squad that resonates with fans.
