Fiorentina pushes for Greek goalkeeper Christos Mandas

Italian Serie A club Fiorentina is actively pursuing 24‑year‑old Greek goalkeeper Christos Mandas as a potential replacement for David de Gea, who is expected to depart. Mandas, who spent the second half of the 2025‑26 season on loan at English side Bournemouth without making an appearance, remains under contract with Lazio until 30 June.

Fiorentina representatives met with Mandas' agents in Italy, discussing a possible signing and a transfer fee lower than the €15 million Lazio originally valued. Lazio has indicated it will consider selling the keeper if a satisfactory financial offer is received, while Fiorentina aims to secure him to strengthen its goalkeeping options for the upcoming season.
