Fiorentina rejects January interest in midfielder Cher Ndour

Fiorentina has signaled its intention to retain midfielder Cher Ndour, rejecting potential moves during the January transfer window despite significant interest from Juventus and Premier League clubs. The club views the young player as a vital component of its tactical setup and has maintained a firm stance against mid-season departures.

Ndour’s profile has risen following standout performances with the Italy Under-21 national team, including a notable long-range goal against Poland. While Juventus remains interested, Fiorentina's management, including Fabio Paratici, has previously resisted offers from clubs such as Napoli and Crystal Palace to ensure the player remains at the club.

Financial complexities also surround a potential sale, as Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly entitled to 50% of any future transfer fee. Despite interest from English clubs with substantial financial resources, Ndour remains committed to Fiorentina as the team seeks to improve its league standing.
