Fiorentina seeks defensive stability and offensive leadership

Fiorentina is facing tactical challenges regarding defensive stability and offensive consistency under coach Paolo Vanoli. The team's defense has struggled, conceding 14 goals, which ranks as the second-worst in Serie A. Specifically, the defensive flanks have been a weakness, as players like Jimenez and Valdepenas are more offensively oriented and struggle to contain opponents.

In the attacking department, Vanoli is searching for a reliable center-forward following the departure of Kean. While Beto possesses physical structure and technical ability, his current form has been insufficient, recording no goals in 163 minutes of play. Consequently, Pellegrino is emerging as a strong candidate for the starting role, offering more effectiveness in the final third and better alignment with the coach's tactical requirements.
